(BVSc(Hons) VetMFHom MRCVS MCIVT)
Anuska trained as a conventional Veterinarian in South Africa and qualified from Onderstepoort in 1993. She completed a post graduate Honours degree in Medicine, Anaesthesiology and Clinical Pathology in 1995, while running an animal welfare hospital for the PDSA in Soweto. Mid 1995 she decided to move to the UK to gain international experience as a Veterinary Surgeon. She soon became interested in complimentary medicine, after witnessing how homeopathy could help conditions where conventional medicine no longer had much to offer. In 2000, she became a Veterinary member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in the UK. She is also a Licentiate member of the International College of Crystal Healers (2003) and passed her Veterinary Acupuncture Exams in 2004.
After moving back to South Africa in 2004, Anuska set up Mandala Health (now Simply Vets) - the first fully integrated holistic Veterinary practice in South Africa, combining her alternative healing skills with conventional medicine and surgery. She has also studied a range of other therapies, including homotoxicology, medical nutrition, functional medicine, magnetic therapy, physical therapies, emotional freedom technique (EFT), herbs, essences and spiritual healing.
Anuska lives in Sedgefield with her beautiful daughter, who shares in her absolute passion for animals. They love the outdoors and can often be found frequenting the local markets and spending time in nature whenever possible.

(Shop Assistant)
When not assisting customers Annalise enjoys a variety of activities from crocheting, cycling, travelling as well as taking her dog for a walk. Married with two adult children, Annalise and her husband lived in Switzerland for 18 years but returned to South Africa’s warm weather and oceans, opting to settle in Sedgefield. If that’s not enough to keep her busy, Annalise enjoys spending time with family and friends and creating products to sell at the local crafter’s market on a Saturday morning.
